华南杂交稻亲本米质性状配合力的SSR标记鉴定

【Objective】The present experiment was conducted to screen for SSR markers linked with quality grain traits and combining ability of elite hybrid rice parental lines in Southern China area in order to provide basis for the selection and improvement of parental hybrid rice quality. 【Method】Utilizing the SSR marker technology combined with the incomplete diallel crosses method, the molecular markers of quality grain traits correlation and combining ability in 61 F1 traits of 18 hybrid rice parents in Southern China area were identified. 【Result】From analyzing the 3 traits of brown rice rate, rice grain length, and grain length-to-width ratio, the correlation coefficients between the F1 and male sterile lines and restorer lines were similar. The correlation coefficient between F1 and restoring lines was significantly greater than that of F1 and male sterile lines when the relevant chalky white grain rate, chalkiness degrees, alkali spreading values, and amylose contents were compared; at the same time, the correlation coefficient between the parents' genetic distance and F1 was relatively high. The 17 parent SSR molecular markers obtained were significantly related to these traits. Amongst the parent SSR molecular markers, there were 6 containing amylose contents, which were RM5, RM250, RM274, RM549, RM336, and RM427. Also from the parent SSR molecular markers, there were 5 containing alkali digestion value, which were RM236, RM18, RM274, RM336, and RM427. Two other parent SSR molecular markers contained chalky grain rate, which were RM5 and RM276. The remaining parent SSR markers each contain one of the following: brown rice rate, head rice rate, chalkiness degree, and gel consistency, which was respectively RM274, RM246, RM276, and RM549. 【Conclusion】SSR marker screening could be used directly for forecasting the hybrid rice grain quality in Southern China and for improving the combination ability of molecular assisted breeding.
