【Objective】The present experiment was conducted to study the resveratrol and polydatin content in peel of grapes grown under muggy weather conditions of Guangxi. 【Method】Five grape varieties viz., Kyoho, Xiahei, Fry, Carlos and Nobel, which were cultivated under muggy weather conditions of Guangxi, were used to determine the resveratrol and polydatin content in peels using HPLC. 【Result】The result showed that Kyoho grape recorded 15.621 mg/L polydatin, which was higher than other grape varieties, followed by Xiahei (12.062 mg/L). The peel of Nobel showed the highest (0.276 mg/L) resveratrol content, followed by Kyoho (0.206 mg/L). The total content of resveratrol and polydatin in Kyoho reached 15.827 mg/L, which was the highest among all the varieties, followed by Xiahei, it was 12.048 mg/L. 【Conclusion】The grape variety Kyoho can produce more resveratrol when cultivated under muggy weather conditions of Guangxi.
