【Objective】The objective of the present study was to test the acute toxicity of the raw pesticides of prohexadione-calcium, and to provide toxicological basis for using proexhadione calcium safely. 【Method】The tests of acute oral and percutaneous toxicity were undertaken based on the Chinese standards (GB 15670-1995) of Toxicological Test Methods of Pesticides for Registration.【Result】The acute oral toxicity LD50 of proexhadione calcium on SD rats was over 5000 mg/kg·BW, and the percutaneous toxicity was over 2000 mg/kg·BW. 【Conclusion】The acute oral, percutaneous toxicity of percutaneous toxicity on rats is low, which is safe for human beings and domestic animals.
